Welcome to the Rowner Renewal Project

The Rowner Renewal Partnership launched the Rowner Renewal Project in October 2007. The Partnership comprises five members Homes and Communities Agency, Gosport Borough Council, Hampshire County Council, Portsmouth Housing Association and Taylor Wimpey UK Ltd.

After 18 months of consultation the Partnership received outline planning for the Rowner Renewal Project in July 2009 and Phase One planning approval was granted in October 2009. Construction work on Phase One begins in January 2010. Read on »

The Rowner Renewal Partnership has confirmed that preparation work has begun on site to start the long awaited Rowner Renewal Project. This eight year project involves the demolition of run down housing and retail buildings and their replacement with modern homes and facilities to create a sustainable community within Gosport.
