Welcome to the Rowner Renewal Project

The Rowner Renewal Partnership launched the Rowner Renewal Project in October 2007. The Partnership comprises five members First Wessex, Gosport Borough Council, Hampshire County Council, Homes and Communities Agency and Taylor Wimpey UK Ltd.

After 18 months of consultation the Partnership received outline planning for the Rowner Renewal Project in July 2009 and Phase One planning approval was granted in October 2009. Construction work on Phase One begins in January 2010. Read on »

8 April 2013 - Gosport honours British soldier killed in Afghanistan

Residents, VIPs and members of the family gathered together on Saturday 6 April for a road naming ceremony in Alver Village, Rowner to honour a British soldier known as “The Colonel” who died in Afghanistan in October 2010. His widow Sue Blanchard was Guest of Honour as the Rowner Renewal Partnership and the Borough of Gosport honoured her late husband at Blanchard Avenue, Rowner, Gosport, Hampshire. Read on »
