13th July 2010 - Come and see affordable ownership opportunities on Rowner
First Wessex, part of the Rowner Renewal Partnership, is inviting local people to a drop-in session at The Nimrod Community Centre in Nimrod Drive, Rowner from 4.30–7.00 pm on Thursday 15 July.
First Wessex will show interested people the number of houses and flats available under its Homebuy Scheme (part rent-part buy). The Homes and Communities Agency co-funds the HomeBuy scheme to give people the opportunity to buy a new and affordable home.

Tony Jones, Sales and Marketing Manager for First Wessex explains:
In Phase One of the Rowner Renewal Project over 219 new homes are being built and 97 are for affordable housing. On Thursday interested residents can drop into the Community Centre to see for themselves the homes on offer and find out more about this exciting opportunity to own their own home. By purchasing a property through the Newbuild Homebuy scheme residents can buy a property from just £120 per week.
If residents cannot make Thursday’s session then the Alver Village Sales and Information Office will open permanently from Saturday 17 July along Grange Road.
The opening times for this office will be:
Tuesday-Sunday (10 am–5 pm)
Monday (1pm–5pm)
First Wessex staff will be at the office one day a week but Taylor Wimpey’s Sales Team will pass on interested HomeBuy people’s details to First Wessex who will contact.them personally.
Any resident who requires further information or wishes to discuss what happens next, should contact First Wessex on the Rowner Renewal Enquiry Line: 08450 343317
