29 June 2010 - New Name for Rowner Homes as Public Consultation Begins on Phase 2
The Rowner Renewal Partnership has unveiled its new marketing brand for selling the new homes in the Rowner regeneration area. Alver Village is the name chosen and this suggestion was put forward by local resident Mr M Dye. Mr Dye will shortly receive £250 high street vouchers as his prize.

A new logo has been developed for the Alver Village name and residents will shortly see the hoardings and the sales office joint branded with Alver Village and Rowner Renewal.
The detailed planning application for Phase 2 of the project involves the area of Darwin Way, Livingstone Court and Raleigh Walk…The submission is expected to be by the end of July/beginning of August.
Public consultation drop in sessions on the detailed Phase 2 planning will take place at the Nimrod Centre on:
Friday 2 July (2-8pm) and
Saturday 3 July (9am–2pm)
All are welcome. Interested residents can come and see the proposals for Phase 2 and speak to members of the Design Team. The plans include 101 new homes with a ten storey tower ; the Tesco supermarket; three smaller retail units and an area of open space with a children’s play area.
